Litter Prevention
The R-Board provides litter pick-up in the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County. Despite having only two litter crew members, they are responsible for keeping more than 400 miles of road litter-free. The R-Board urges everyone to avoid intentional littering. Putting litter where it belongs can create a cleaner community.
Report Roadside Litter
If you see litter, report it! Your report helps keep the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County clean, beautiful, and safe for everyone.
The R-Board employs two dedicated Litter Crew staff members who remove roadside litter from secondary roads within the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County.
Please note that the R-Board does not remove litter from:
- Private property
- Interstate 95 (I-95)
- Roads or common areas maintained by homeowners associations (HOAs)
Litter cleanup requests are prioritized based on the severity of the litter and are completed as staff availability, weather conditions, and operational demands permit. While every effort is made to respond as quickly as possible, response times may vary depending on these factors.
