The R-Board’s Annual Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day is scheduled for September 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Stafford Regional Airport, located at 95 Aviation Way, Fredericksburg, VA. Please note that this event is exclusively for residents of the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County. Businesses are not allowed to bring their hazardous waste.
The following limits apply per household:
5 gallons of liquid HHW
- Container size may not exceed five gallons
40 pounds of solid HHW
- Container size may not exceed five gallons
You can recycle cell phones, computer towers, iPads/tablets, laptops, and printers. However, TVs, computer monitors, and other electronics are not accepted. If you are only bringing electronics for recycling, you can save time in line by visiting the Regional Landfill or the Belman Road Convenience Center, as they accept electronics for recycling daily.
