Latex Paint
The Regional Landfill located at 489 Eskimo Hill Road, Stafford, VA 22554, accepts latex paint daily from residents of the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County. When you visit the landfill to dispose of latex paint, please visit the sales shed attendant so they can assist you in properly disposing of the latex paint. Residents are charged $5 per visit for disposal. Annual passes and coupons can be used to pay for disposal. Please note that latex paint is NOT accepted at the Belman Road location.
As an alternative, you can air dry latex paint at home, or mix it in cat litter to speed up the drying process. Once dry, latex paint can be placed in your household trash. Please note that oil-based paint must be brought to a household hazardous waste collection event for proper disposal. Learn more at www.r-board.org/hhw.
