The R-Board is dedicated to promoting the diversion of items from landfills through the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. They encourage residents of the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County to participate in this effort by sharing their stories and experiences of how they have reduced, reused, or recycled items in their daily lives. The R-Board has created a program called Community Stand Together and Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (STAR) to inspire and encourage others in the community to make a positive impact.
