The Regional Landfill at 489 Eskimo Hill Road, Stafford, VA 22554, accepts latex paint daily from residents of the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County. When you visit the landfill to take care of latex paint, please visit the sales shed attendant so they can help you properly dispose of the latex paint. Residents are charged $5 per visit for disposal. Annual passes and coupons can be used to pay for disposal. Latex paint is NOT accepted at the Belman Road location.
The landfill receives calls daily about how to dispose of latex paint properly. In response to resident requests, the R-Board began offering this service to assist residents. The R-Board hopes this service will allow residents to dispose of their latex paint easily.
As an alternative, you can air dry latex paint at home, or mix it in cat litter to speed up the drying process. Once dry, latex paint can be placed in your household trash.
