The Eskimo Hill Residential Convenience Center is undergoing a few changes. In an attempt to adapt to current recycling markets, the R-Board has set up separate containers for cardboard and glass, in addition to regular single stream recyclables. Glass containers have also been set up at the Belman Road Convenience Center. Glass markets have been historically scarce so, we are separating it for beneficial use around the landfill.

We are actively working towards making the residential recycling area more accessible for all residents and we greatly appreciate all the patience throughout this process.

Recycling is an important part of waste management and the R-Board offers many recycling opportunities for its customers. Residents in Stafford and Fredericksburg are provided with single-stream recycling drop-off locations for cans, bottles, and paper products. Scrap metal and coolant-containing appliances are also accepted. Items that are often considered hazardous like car batteries, fluorescent bulbs, used motor oil and antifreeze are accepted on a daily basis too.
